Looking for new friends in the queer community? Come through Friday, February 7th from 7-10 PM at @510firehouseprojects for Speed Friending and Valentine’s Card Making! This is a COVID-safer event, with masks required indoors at all times and light refreshments outdoors.

Inspired by San Diego arts space @burn_all_books, we are planning a fun night of meeting new friends! Questions and prompts will be provided, all you’ve got to do is bring yourself. After the event, we will connect matches via text. No need to share any contact info at the event!

Before we start the speed friending rounds, and during our intermission, we’ll have card making supplies out for attendees to make cards for their lovers and/ or new friends!

Tickets are $10-$25 sliding scale on Eventbrite 🔗 We have six BIPOC Free Tix that are reserved for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. We will be adding another free ticket for each person that pays $20-$25 on the sliding scale. Get your tickets now before they sell out.

510 Firehouse has limited parking options nearby, but is near Lake Merritt BART and many AC Transit lines. It may be easier to transit or take an Uber! If you need a pal to walk you to BART or the bus, let an organizer know or email us at diy.museumbay@gmail.com
